Are you aligned?
Why alignment is more important than anything else in 2024
We’re on week of 3 of year, and the pace is only going to pick up as the days move forward.
Really quickly, if you’re a client of Yarnway Wealth, this week starts our bi-annual meetings. Make sure that you contact our office manager, Abbey, if you have yet to get on the schedule.
To those reading the newsletter, and are new, our firm only takes a limited number of clients per month. Be sure to schedule your appointment so that you are not subject to the wait list.
Last week, the S&P 500 returned 1.87% bringing its total to 0.34% for the year. It’s early, but I encourage everyone to stick to their financial plans, stay invested and reach out if you have any questions.
Now, let’s jump into the newsletter
Are you aligned?
If there’s one single word that summarizes the work that we do at Yarnway Wealth, it’s alignment.
And I don’t mean alignment like going to see your chiropractor. The alignment that I speak of is the type that helps you to build a process for every decision in your life.
You see, when we are not aligned, there is absolutely no way we can be intentional with money. There’s no way to silence the noise of the markets, or stick to a financial plan. Alignment is the foundation for all things fulfilling in your life and for your money.
So how do you get aligned?
The answer, though easier said than done, is to transform yourself into the person who can receive the gifts, life, partner, retirement, business - and anything else - that they seek.
It’s a slow process that involves trial and error for most, and exhaustion for few. Aligning - though uncomfortable - breaks cycles, and creates new, healthy ones that hopefully can be passed down for generations.
Alignment is the foundation for all things fulfilling in your life and for your money.
While planning is important to alignment, I’ve made many plans, and worked with many people who just weren’t equipped to stick to a strategy long enough to see it work. They simply were not aligned.
A financial plan therefore became another thing to check off of the to-do list versus a compass to align them with their desired life. Everyone, including myself, has had moments of misalignment. It’s up to us to change that.
In this video, I sit down with millionaire business mogul, Mark Haney, and we discuss business, wealth management but most of all how a person should seek alignment over consumption.
This week, let’s focus on how we can be more aligned so that 2024 can stand out amongst past years.
Have a great week!
